Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium

Client: Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium
Location: Spartanburg, SC
Square Footage: Approx 500,000
Roofing System: 60 MIL TPO Tan Johns Manville

Since opening its doors in 1951, Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium has stood as a cornerstone of culture and community life in the Upstate. Over the decades, it has hosted countless concerts, theatrical performances, and special events.

When the time came for roofing renovations at this historic venue, Cannon Roofing was honored to be entrusted with the task. To cover around 500,000 sq. ft. our team installed a 60 MIL TPO Tan Johns Manville roofing system, a durable and energy-efficient choice designed to protect the auditorium for years to come. This kind of system not only meets the building’s immediate needs but also helps secure it for years to come.

A project of this scale takes strong collaboration, and we are grateful for the partnership of Spartanburg County and the team at SMA, whose support helped make the logistics possible.

At Cannon, we take pride in projects like this—where quality roofing craftsmanship meets purpose and our work contributes to preserving the spaces that matter for our community.
