This position will be based in our Spartanburg, SC office reporting to the Service Manager.

Job Duties:

• Work with the Service Manager, Technical Service Manager and other service technicians to diagnose and repair roof-related problems

• Demonstrate proficiency in roof system repair and the ability to work capably on any roof system assigned by the Service Manager:

  • Steep Slope: Shingle, slate, flashing

  • Low Slope: TPO, PVC, BUR, EPDM

• Be on time for all shifts, ready to go at the assigned time with all personal tools and PPE
• Abide by all safety requirements
• Complete site report documentation required to log and bill jobs
• Document current conditions and future needs
• Deliver excellent quality work and customer satisfaction
• Perform work according to company standards with professional and courteous behavior 
• Other duties as assigned

Skills & Qualifications:

• Ability to drive a company vehicle
• Ability to communicate effectively in English both in written and oral communications with clients and crew members
• Ability to problem solve, diagnose, and repair roof systems safely and with accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to perform math calculations related to roofing work
• Ability to climb ladders and work at heights
• Physical ability to lift and maneuver heavy objects
• Ability to use all hand tools associated with roofing installation including simple hand tools and specific roofing related tools
• Ability to work with others in a professional manner and teach fellow crew members roof system installation skills
• Ability to identify safety hazards on project sites and take corrective measures to eliminate or reduce risks associated with those hazards
• Ability to read and understand architectural plans and specifications

Position Requirements:

• 5 years of roofing production experience
• Ability to work 8-12 hour shifts on weekdays and weekends (M-F, 7am-6pm is typical)
• Lift 50 lbs or less and related manual labor
• A valid driver's license (preferred)
• 10 or 30 hour OSHA card (preferred)
• Specialized training (preferred)

• Fluent in English and Spanish (preferred)
