This position will be based in our Spartanburg, SC office reporting to the Operations Manager and the Controller.
 

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities of the Materials and Equipment Warehouse Manager include:

• Receive and count deliveries, comparing purchase orders to packing slips 
• Check for damaged goods or equipment upon delivery 
• Properly store materials and equipment in designated locations 
• Receive and fulfill material and equipment requisitions from Operations Manager, Project Managers, Service Managers, and Superintendents 
• Record and turn in all material transfer records including Warehouse to Job or Work Order, Work Order or Job to Warehouse, and Warehouse to Warehouse 
• Manage maintenance and repair of all shop equipment 
• Keep shop clean and organized at all times 
• Perform physical count of inventory at frequencies to be determined by Controller 
• Work with Operations to develop and refine standard operating procedures 
• Work with accounting to generate Purchase Orders for suppliers 
• Recruitment and training of employees under your purview 
• Responsible for inventory of sheet metal and consumables
   

Skills/Qualifications

Qualifications of the Materials and Equipment Warehouse Manager include:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in warehouse and inventory management 
• Certified to operate a forklift 
• Bilingual is a plus 
• Ability to be a team player and work in a fast-paced team environment 
• Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines 
• Ability to adapt to change and unforeseen issues, while maintaining professionalism
   

Position Requirements

Requirements of the Materials and Equipment Warehouse Manager include:

• Must be certified to operate a forklift 
• Must be able to lift 40 pounds 
• Be at work by 5:30 am every weekday 
• Basic computer skills such as Excel, Word, and email are a plus 
• Be able to pass a background check
